This was actually one of the most annoying photos to edit. I was feeling particularly expressionistic (aka lazy) when I shot this. Thank you nifty fifty at f/1.8! But really. As I edited this, I took down the saturation, but I wanted to keep some reds and greens. The greens stayed easily enough, but the pesky red in the berry just wouldn’t stick. Stupid annoying berry thing. I ended up just making a layer copy of it, and from there burning, desaturating, contrasting, and exposure-ing it until I got what I wanted. Stupid thing. Of course at the size you all can see it, it doesn’t even matter. As long as I know it’s there, I suppose. 9/08/09, ~8:48pm, Mount Pleasant, MI. 216/365
